Forklift Do's and Don'ts
- Forklift News
According to previously published data from #OSHA, there are approximately 85 forklift-related deaths and 34,900 serious injuries due to #forklift accidents each year. Here are two of the most important “do’s" and “don’ts” to forklift operation:
Do – Always look in the direction of travel before moving the forklift.
Do – Always travel in the direction of best visibility.
Don’t – Never drive or steer a forklift with the forks/load elevated more than 12”.
Don’t – Never assume the forklift has the right away around pedestrians. Pedestrians always have the right away.
